The 16-Week Advanced Marathon training plan is a high volume plan designed for runners who have ideally run a handful of marathons and are looking to improve their time and performance. The plan includes 4-5 running workouts/week (various speed, easy effort, long runs), 1-2 strength workouts/week and pre-hab work.
The plan peaks at a total weekly volume of ~52 miles and a long run of 21 miles.
